Squam River Landing offers limited direct access to Squam Lake.
It is a home, a community of friends and families, many whom have known each other for generations. We believe it is our mutual responsibility to preserve the quality of the lake through responsible development and preservation. Squam River Landing involved renovating Riveredge Marina, as well as renovating and subdividing 102 slips and boathouses for private, fee simple ownership and developing an adjacent land parcel into a low density, cluster planned residential community.
The Boat Club, Squam River Landing, offers long term ownership of irreplaceable lake side assets. This unique and affordable ownership opportunity provides boat houses and open boat slips with direct access to Squam Lake. The Boat Club offers its owners not only a home for their boat but also many amenities, including: dock side storage boxes with electricity, large on site storage lockers, access to a key padded bath house, and access to a clubhouse with a large deck overlooking Little Squam Lake. Also included are 4 large outdoor barbecue areas. As of January 2008 53 of the 66 open slips have been purchased and 27 of the 30 Boathouses have been sold. We have only 13 open slips and 3 Boathouses remaining.
Riveredge Marina continues to provide quality and experienced marina services to our clients, business as usual, with operating improvements enhancing the services we provide our clients. Riveredge Marina offers boat sales, engine sales, trailer sales, a fully stocked ships store, boat rentals, fishing licenses, boating registrations, winter storage, winterization, day valet services, marine parts, and professional, high quality marine repair service. Riveredge Marina's dedicated staff of four seasoned mechanics is there for all your boating needs. We also offer an expanded client service center which includes an internet based retail sales area for many recreational boating needs including water skis, wakeboards, vests, towlines, boat accessories and dock systems.
The Residences at Squam River Landing are planned to start in the spring of 2008. We are currently offering 15 non-binding residential agreements of which 10 remain. We will offer a carefully planned residential living environment in the heart of New Hampshire's Lakes Region aside the White Mountains foothills. The architectural design of the housing will reflect the Shingle Style Estate Homes of the Victorian Era. Each home has been designed to outwardly appear as a grand, large estate home while graciously offering a handful of condominium residences crafted within. This mountain side land presents exceptional views of Little Squam Lake, the Squam River and several mountain ranges. Snow skiing is available nearby at Cannon, Loon, Waterville, and Tenney Mountains. Snowmobile trails are easily accessed from the land, North Conway is within an hours drive, and several golf clubs are within a short driving distance.
Our intent is for Squam River Landing to become a community of lake side residents who will value and help to preserve the enduring beauty and timeless nature of Squam.
