Message from the Development Team

As part of historically restoring Riveredge Marina, the lake's largest working marina, long term ownership of irreplaceable lake side assets have become available and as of February 2008 have almost sold out with only 3 boathouses and 13 open slips unsold. Squam River Landing is a unique and affordable ownership opportunity offering boat houses and open boat slips which provide direct access to Squam Lake. Through ownership of this scarce resource, direct lake access for boats, Squam River Landing has become a community of lake side owners who value and help to preserve the beauty and undeveloped nature of Squam.

A day on the lake, a ride in a boat, a fishing trip with grandchildren, tracing bass on a paper bag, chasing the sun reflected on the water, a kid's first ski, a sunrise over Red Hill, a sunset over Livermore Mountain, a meaningful conversation. These are moments in our life which we remember and want to share. It is true that we do not look back and wish we had worked more. Our life is now and we are meant to live each day to its fullest.

Our re-development plans included the restoration of Riveredge Marina's main buildings with Architectural elements reflecting the Victorian Era Shingle and Farm Styles of the late 1800's. The Shingle style period, sometimes referred to as Stick style, evolved in response to the excessive detailing used in the Queen Anne style of Victorian architecture. We believe this simpler approach to design, portrays the leisure and the lifestyle of an era in our countries history when time with our families and friends mattered the most.
