How to Become Part of the Lake Community

The steps below will guide you in your purchase of a boathouse or open boat slip at Squam River Landing.

Step One – Get the Ball Rolling

  • Contact the marketing and sales department at Squam River Landing.

  • Request information including marketing collaterals, availability and pricing.
  • Schedule a visit to the project
  • Schedule a visit the project and review the project architectural and engineering plans
  • Select a boat house or open boat slip
  • Make a $1000.00 deposit to secure your slip selection and request for submission of the Purchase and Sale agreement
  • Receive and review the legal, architectural, engineering and scheduling contract documents defining your potential purchase

Step Three – Sign on the Dotted Line

  • Review, sign and return the Purchase and Sale agreement to Squam River Landing legal representative, Jack McCormack, Esquire, with an additional deposit totaling 10% of the purchase price of your chosen boat slip.

Step Four– Check It Out and Assume Ownership

  • Schedule a physical site inspection of construction improvements and completion of items associated with your purchase.
  • Schedule a closing date and obtain title to your boat house or open slip.
  • Schedule your boat to be serviced and readied for the summer.
  • Launch your boat and secure it within your new slip.
  • Enjoy the lake with your family and friends
